Cover of the Rollende Keukens report with a yellow food truck

An app that lets event organisers find and book food trucks for festivals and markets across the Netherlands.

Problem

Event organisers and food truck owners lacked one clear overview of which trucks were booked for which event, and how many visitors to expect. Rollende Keukens is a concept for searching, booking and managing trucks per event in one place.

Structure

Before designing any screen, I mapped the whole app in two overview diagrams. This design covers everything an organiser sees: logging in, a dashboard, bookings, searching and filtering trucks, sending a request and creating an event.

Annotations

Every screen carries numbered annotations. They name the search behaviour the screen supports, such as looking up a known truck or exploring options, along with the organisation scheme (alphabetical, chronological or by topic) and the type of content.
